Services
As shipper, receiver or other (cargo) interests, you have your requirements
HC Survey can fulfill some of those needs.
E.g., you are interested in the cargo loaded or unloaded weight of a batch bulk (eg coal, ore, scrap).
For inland-shipping Barge gauging is the appropriate way, while for sea-going vessels there is the Draught Survey.
Smaller quantities of bulk cargo will also be carried in so-called big bags. Here the parties are loaded together into a ship's hold. It is then advisable for the parties to stay well apart here.
This then goes through the monitoring and tally.
For large (bulk) cargo often a vessel is chartered. Because during loading and / or unloading of the ship by the nature of the goods (steel scrap!) damage to the ship can occur, it is advisable to inspect the ship's holds both before loading and after unloading.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact HC Survey.
A stupid question is the unasked question!
